Band-It centre-punch clamps for mining, plumbing applicationsBand-It centre-punch clamps, distributed locally by Banding & Identification Solutions Africa, have been used on low-pressure water and air lines at a mine in Phalaborwa. Apart from this mining application, the galvanised version of this product has proven popular in the plumbing industry as a temporary clamping solution, Sales Representative Matthew Campbell reveals. “As with all Band-It products, our experienced sales team offers training on all of our tools, and also provides full support in terms of all aspects of aftersales support.” The clamps, with a width of 15.9 mm and 9.6mm, are also available in grade 201 stainless steel, and are supplied in boxes of 25, 50, or 100 clamps, depending on the diameter required.
